Bali Indonesia

Your comprehensive Bali Guide

Here at the official Bali Information Guide we are dedicated to giving accurate and unbiased information about this incredible island in Indonesia.

We will be regularly adding pages as we get more inquiries. If there's something about Bali that we've missed, please let us know and we'll add the correct info.

Island of the Gods

There's good reason why Bali is referred to as the Island of the Gods. Bali is truly the jewel of Asia with a plethora of things to do and see. Unique Culture, Scuba Diving, Ancient Temples, Upscale Spas, Perfect Surf, Exotic Volcanoes, Great Food, Exciting Nightlife, Abundant Shopping, and Extremely Low prices on everything make Bali Indonesia the perfect place to visit for those looking to relax and/or have adventure.

Bali Surfing

Bali Surfing

Most of our writers surf, so you'll see plenty of helpful information about the waves in Bali (just as soon as we can get them out of the water!)

Bali Surfing is world class and offers waves for all levels of skill. Bali is a big island, and though the surf is consistent, it can get crowded at popular spots. But because it's big, there are plenty of waves not being ridden if you look.

We'll have more on this soon.

Hi, I think your website is most timely and covers all areas, However one area I would beg to differ is that Bali isn't the 'cheap' place that it was, far from it! And I am talking shopping now. Living here for the past five years, the prices have been on a spiral up, of course if you want cheap & cheerful, you can still get it down in Kuta & the markets. But take a look around Seminyak in particular, the prices are not cheap anymore, so please, keep this in mind, when writing about the 'better end' of shopping in Bali, people have to pay a price, although it still is less expensive than in the west.

Looks like our surf trip to Bali this year may be canceled. Incredibly sad about it. I guess 2011 will have to be our new date. Have fun, people, for me!

Jane,
You'll love Playgrounds. Mid range accommodation but the best place you could possibly stay - right in the centre of everything with an amazing view from the pool.

WOW first time this year to Bali and now I am hooked. We have already booked flight back for next year. Has anyone stayed at Playgrounds Nusa Lembongan? It just looks fabulous. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Nice photos of the monkeys! I love their little mohawks.

I'd love to see some pages on Lombok, the island next door. The next time we visit, we'll probably cruise over there if it's worth it. Thanks.

Bali is FIRING right now! double to triple overhead. Too big for me to surf, but I'm loving watching these maniacs paddle in!

Thanks for adding the Monkey Forest Tips. I would have brought my sunglasses and regretted it for the rest of the trip. Thanks again!

I've been to Bali twice now, and absolutely love it! The water is soooo warm compared to California. My girl and I went last time and she learned to surf at a very small Padang Padang. The time before I went with my buddies and the same spot was spitting like Pipeline. Double overhead (quite the contrast to the little waves she learned in.)

Thanks for sharing all of this info. I'll be bookmarking the site and checking for updates. Looking forward to it!
